Robin Hood in Germany

My own German found a new hobby. He runs like Robin Hood through the woods, and follows a course in archery. And he's really good at it.

It's strange. Even though I know Robin Hood wasn't German, archery fits in the category "particularities of the German culture".

I can not really say why. It must have to do with the woods here. The green. It just fits to run around there with an arc and arrows.

Or maybe it is that famous lederhosen again. Men like Robin Hood wear short trousers. Maybe leather. Maybe not.

My own German doesn't. But he does run around like Robin Hood. Well, you have to start somewhere...
