I join a little German friend of 6 to his first school day. Or better, school party.
The older girls - read: little girls of 7 - dancing up and down for him. On stage. He's fascinated. And if that's not enough yet. There's presents at your first school day. A cone full of sweets.
German Tradition. Dancing girls and sweets. First school day ends here.
But the party continues. Cause at home your family, friends and even the goodlooking, blond kindergarten teacher come to congratulate you. And give you cones. Full of sweets. No, the first school day in Germany is definitly fun.
Different than my home country. Or at least what I remember. A class room. 8 hours. Sitting still. And extra homework because I was too loud.
My little German friend looks forward to day 2. He secretely hopes the dancing girls give another show tomorrow. As every little man in the worldwide world would...
