My own German smiles when he passes the border back into Germany. He claims that driving as fast as you want frees the mind. Frees people. Yeah. It definitly frees male testosteron.

But my own German didn't take into account the road works. Baustelle. No country in the world with more road works than Germany. From 220 kilometers an hour to 60.

My own German thinks it is because they are a big country. That's why they have many road works. I think it has to do with freedom and men.

Give them a little. But not too much.

Let them drive 220. But not too long.
