Rocking schlager music

I'm driving in my car. Turning on the radio. And there is this real hot song making me dancing in a traffic jam. I'm in my own country. We have a lot of traffic jams.

It takes me a minute or two to realise this is German. I am dancing on a real, hot German song. There goes my belief in German schlager music. Cause this is really good. It's really rocking.

I learn afterwards the band is hot for years. In Germany at least. The rest of the world only discovers them now. Cause, just as me, was the rest of the world convinced Germans sing schlagers.

And schlagers don't rock.

Well, they still do it. Singing schlagers that don't rock. I have seen them doing it. But... we need to give them a little credit. Cause this band is really, really good.

Watch my words. Before you know there is German music on your radio. And you'll be shaking on -very- rocking schlager music.
