Light, please?

I drive regularly home. To my own country, I mean. It takes some patience and navigation skills -for a woman-, but the Germans allow a quite nice speed on their highways. So it moves.

At least, if you don't drive at night. You see, my home country has never heard about energy savings. We put the light on at night. In your house. And on the highway. It does not matter of anyone uses the streets or not. There-will-be-light.

So I try to find my way on the German highways. No light. And even though I like the environment and all the energy saving discussions, black is black. Without light I can not see. And as soon as I use the full lights of my car, someone at the other site of the highway flashes back to say I can't.

Can someone put the light on, pleeeeease?

You dont need the light because there will be nobody coming from the other direction. (on the autobahn)

I was once driving through the benelux states and I found it crazy that they have lights everywhere, not only on a bridge or so.

Why does this blog know my name anyway? im confused.
